please redo the illustrations. make them interesting and informative. draw big to fillin the sapce avaialble. use one or 2 colors to highlight the important part of the concept. get inspired from coroflot.com portfolios. see how they try to illustrate their concepts. submit the assignment by 6th dec.

ok now lets get on to drawing from physical objetcs. take some object say a computer monitor or a mouse. make quick sketches of it, looking at it in different vieews. draw atleast 3 views of the same object. - umesh

and what about your good design / bad design assignments??

Gokul, am happy with your progress in object drawing and rendering. Your rendering reflects what am expecting from you. Off course there is a lot of finesse to be brought into it, but it comes by regular practice. Now onwards you can make 2 such renderings in a month. you can select any image / object that you like or passionate about and start rendering it (copy the highlights religiously) with utmost care. i would not be giving you more exercises in this area, however i would be eager to see and comment further renderings you do.

Now lets get on to the next area, ie quick sketching.

the objective of this is to make you comprehend the form, shape and perspective of an object from different views and ability to draw it on paper as quick as possible.

as an orientation to this i will send you a doc . please go through the instructions given in it and draw the image and send it across. there is no timing for submission. the sooner you do the sooner we progress...


also please update your assignment on good design/bad design.
